Welcoming guest Mahjong instructors

The community is looking for mahjong lessons and open play opportunities. Spades & Company partners with guest instructors who can bring these experiences to our space. If you are a teacher interested in hosting play, lessons or a tournament, reach out to coordinate an event. If you are a mahjong player looking for opportunities to play, event flyers can be found here and on the event calendar.

    Join Mahjong Social Club at Spades & Company for a variety of topics designed to help you build confidence, sharpen your decision-making, and bring new strategies to the table.

    Depending on the topic, each session may take the form of a workshop, hands-on lab, or coached play. Every session is built around a clear player need and, most importantly, something you can take back to the table.

    Topics throughout the series include confidence-building, finding hands faster, Charleston strategy, pivoting, table awareness, decision-making, joker strategy, tournament preparation, and more.

    September 16 – Find Your Hand Faster & Read the Table
    September 23 – Tournament Ready & Exposure Therapy
    September 30 – Find Your Tempo & Commit or Quit?
    October 7 – Play the Odds & Play the Clock

    October 21 – Charleston with Purpose & Tile Economics
    October 28 – Tournament Lab & Joker Jail
